Adjusting the Quick Tools Widget

The Quick Tools widget is the floating button that puts your calculators one click away for visitors, anywhere on your website. It’s already set up for you — this article is about the adjustments you can make to it yourself, whenever you’d like, from your TitleThrive settings.

In your WordPress dashboard, go to TitleThrive → Settings and open the Quick Tools Widget tab. Change what you need, save, and the update is live on your site.

Turn it on or off

A single switch controls whether the widget appears at all. Turn it off if you’d rather not show the floating button for a while (for example, during a site redesign); turn it back on to bring it back. Turning it off doesn’t remove or change any of your other choices — they’re waiting for you when you switch it on again.

Choose which tools it offers

The widget can offer any combination of your calculators — Title Quote, Seller Net Sheet, Buyer Estimate, and the Lender Worksheet. Show only the ones you want visitors to reach from the button; visitors pick from the panel when it opens.

You can also add a Partner Sign In card, which lets your partners reach their portal straight from the widget instead of hunting for the login page.

When you’d change this: you start offering a new tool, or you want to feature only your most-used calculator.

Rename the tools

Each tool has a label you can rewrite to match how you talk to your clients — for instance, “Seller Net Sheet” could become “Estimate Your Proceeds.” Keep labels short so they read cleanly in the panel.

Change how it looks

A few appearance options let the widget fit your site:

• Panel title — the heading at the top of the panel (default: “Quick Tools”). Make it your own, e.g. “Calculate Your Costs.”
• Position — anchor the button to the bottom-right or bottom-left corner. Choose whichever side keeps it clear of other on-screen elements like a chat bubble.
• Panel style — the panel can float above the button, or anchor to it. Purely visual.

Choose how a tool opens

Separately from how the panel looks, you control what happens when a visitor picks a tool:

• Navigate to page — sends them to the calculator’s own page. The default, and the safest choice if you want visitors to land somewhere they can bookmark or share.
• Overlay — opens the tool on top of the current page, so nobody loses their place. Choose a drawer that slides up from the bottom, a modal box, or a fullscreen takeover.
• Inline — drops the tool into the page itself.

When you’d change this: overlay keeps visitors on a service or landing page, which is usually what you want on a page you’re driving traffic to.

Control which pages it appears on

By default the widget shows across your whole site. If you’d rather it appear only in certain places, switch to specific pages and choose where it should show — or keep it site-wide but hide it on a few pages (like a contact or thank-you page) where it isn’t helpful.

When you’d change this: you want the tools front-and-center on your service pages but out of the way on your blog or checkout.
